In her first two years on campus, Coach Kuhns has led the program to new heights, capturing a share of the SoCon Regular Season title in her first year before winning the Conference Tournament. In her second season, Coach Kuhns made history for Samford, winning the Conference Regular Season title outright and receiving an automatic bid to the Women's National Invitational Tournament. The team finished with a 14-11 (11-2 SoCon) record in 2020-21 after going 18-14 (13-4 SoCon) in 2019-20.
