Who We Are
Chris Stephan
Co-Owner/Editor
Chris Stephan is a sophomore at Samford University where he studies Sport Administration. Chris is a member of the Samford University Marching Band and Pep Band, as well as a member of the Samford Acapella Choir. Chris graduated from Mountain Brook High School where he played soccer his Sophomore year. He previously attended Homewood Middle and High School where he was a member of the Football team in 7th and 8th grade, Track and Field (7th grade) and Baseball (8th grade and Freshman year). In the future, Chris wants to either work in the front office of a professional baseball team or work for a Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Carson Sanders

Carson Sanders is a sophomore at Samford University and is studying Sports Administration with a minor in General Business. Carson is also a member of the Sigma Nu Iota Chapter at Samford. He is an Atlanta, GA native and has loved the sports world for as long as he can remember, especially baseball and football. He participated in JV/Varsity football and baseball all 4 years of high school. Carson wants to hopefully work in the front office of an MLB team one day.
Chase Isabell

Chase is a sophomore at Samford University and is a member of the Samford Baseball team. He is a RHP from Springville, AL. He has played sports as long as he can remember. In High School he played varsity all 4 years in basketball and baseball. His senior year he helped Springville High School to their second State Championship in baseball since 1992 which was the year his dad played for Springville as well. Chase is in sports Administration and plans to have a job that interacts with basketball or baseball one day.
Who We Are
At InsandOuts the Bubble, we are a group of Samford students dedicated to finding the role of Samford Athletics in the wide world of college athletics and expanding the reach of Samford University as a whole through their competition in the Southern Conference. By recapping of Samford sporting events, delivering thoughtful insight into controversial topics that affect sports as a whole, and presenting knowledgeable interviews with current coaches and players, we plan to expand the reach of Samford Athletics, as well and deepen our reader’s understanding of how Samford University impacts the national stage.
