Get the Brooms Out!

Is there anything better than a conference series sweep two weekends in a row! That is what baseball did these past two weekends. The first game was a scary one vs. Citadel but in the 8th and 9th inning the dogs did what they do best and that is fight. Ryan Crocket had a day at the plate with a massive home run over the batters eye and walked it off in the 9th with a base hit up the middle. The momentum carried into the 2nd game as Samford run-ruled Citadel in 7 innings with a 14-1 score. On Sunday the dogs trailed for a short time once again but caught fire and had a couple of big innings to get that 8-4 win as Hampton Skinner shut them down. If he is not the pitcher of the week then Socon might just have something against us Bulldogs!
